Introduction
"Deva" is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action thriller directed by Rosshan Andrrews, marking his debut in Hindi cinema. The film features Shahid Kapoor as Dev Ambre, a fearless cop, alongside Pooja Hegde as Diya and Pavail Gulati in pivotal roles. The supporting cast includes Pravesh Rana, Girish Kulkarni, Kubbra Sait, and Aditi Sandhya Sharma.
The screenplay is crafted by the duo Bobby–Sanjay, with dialogues penned by Hussain Dalal and Abbas Dalal. The musical score is composed by Jakes Bejoy, while Vishal Mishra has contributed to the film's songs. Cinematography is handled by Amit Roy, and editing is done by A. Sreekar Prasad. Principal photography commenced in October 2023 in Mumbai and concluded by September 2024. The film was predominantly shot in real locations across Mumbai, with only a few scenes filmed on set. Notably, multiple climax sequences were filmed to maintain suspense, with the final version kept under wraps.
"Deva" is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 31, 2025. Initially planned for October 11, 2024, the release was postponed to February 14, 2025, before being preponed to the current date. Post its theatrical run, the film will be available for streaming on Netflix.

The film's motion poster was released on 1 January 2025, coinciding with new year. The film's is released on 5 January 2025 at an event in carter road mphitheatre Bandra .On 11 January 2025, Kapoor and Hegde headed to Dubai to perform "Bhasad Macha" and for promotional activities of the film at the opening ceremony of the 2025 International League T20. The official trailer was released on 18 January 2025 at an event in Mumbai.
According to Pinkvilla, promotional activities were delayed because of health issues.The promotional campaign kickstarted with an event held at Mithibai College, Mumbai on 23 January.The next day an event was held at R. D. National College, Bandra.
